Create an API key in Street and paste it into Lanten — one person does this once for the whole agency.
Lanten pulls tenants, landlords, applicants and properties straight from Street. The connection is made once per agency: one person creates the key, and it works for everyone — teammates who join later don’t need to do anything.
You’ll need access to Settings → Applications in Street to create the key. If you can’t see that menu, ask whoever administers your Street account.
Log in to Street and click Settings at the bottom of the left-hand menu.
Settings lives at the bottom of Street's navigation.
2
Go to Applications
Under Account administration, click Applications.
Applications is under Account administration.
3
Create a new application
At the bottom of the page, find Create new application and fill it in:
Application name: Lanten
API Token Scope: Open API
Contact name and email: yours
Then click Create Application.
Name it Lanten and select the Open API scope.
4
Copy the token
Street shows your new access token once. Click Click to copy.
Street only shows this token once. If you leave the page without copying it, you can’t retrieve it — you’d need to create a new application and use that token instead.
Copy the token before leaving the page.
5
Paste it into Lanten
Back in Lanten — in onboarding, or at app.lanten.ai → Integrations → Street — paste the token and click Connect Street.
Paste the key and connect.
6
Check it worked
Open an email in Outlook from someone who’s in Street — a current tenant is ideal. Their record should appear in the panel within a moment. That’s the whole test.
