From signup to your first suggested action in about five minutes.
Setting up Lanten takes about five minutes: create your account, connect Street and Outlook, and install the add-in. You’ll do steps 1–5 once; teammates you invite later skip straight to connecting their own inbox.
1
Create your account
Sign up at app.lanten.ai/signup with your work email. This starts your 7-day free trial — no card needed.
A few details to create your workspace.
2
Choose your CRM
Pick Street. Lanten reads contact and property context — tenants, landlords, contractors — straight from your CRM.
Select Street and continue.
3
Add your Street API key
Street is connected once for your whole agency — if a colleague has already done this, Lanten skips ahead. Create the key in Street under Settings → Applications, then paste it in. The full walkthrough with screenshots is on Connecting Street.
The onboarding step includes the same instructions.
4
Connect Outlook
Click Connect Outlook and sign in with your work email. Microsoft shows you what Lanten is asking for — review and click Accept. Every teammate connects their own inbox; see Connecting Outlook for what each permission means.
You'll be redirected to Microsoft to sign in securely.
5
Install the add-in
Click Open store to install Lanten from the Microsoft store, or do it inside Outlook: open any email, click Apps (or Get Add-ins in classic Outlook), search for Lanten, and click Add.
The last step of onboarding.
If the Add button is greyed out or missing, your Microsoft 365 admin may control which add-ins can be installed. Send them For IT administrators.
6
Open an email and pin Lanten
Open an email from a tenant or landlord who’s in Street. The panel shows their record, a summary, and suggested actions. Then pin the panel so it opens beside every email automatically.
